No stranger to the local South African music scene, Jan Blohm’s music began being noticed in 2002. “Melkstraat Confessions” his debut album was released in 2004. Several of his releases have garnered awards, including thre GMT awards for for Album of the year, Song of the Year for <em>Breyten se brief </em>and Best Newcomer in 2005. He is the recipient of several Huisgenoot Tempo awards and SAMA awards.
Jan is known for liberally doling out his own style of quick wit and satirical humour.
With a unique and distinctive style Neil dreams of his music reaching out to audience that appreciate this musical treasure. Far away from the musical mainstream, Neil captivates his audience’s country wide.
Together as Blomtrein since 2015, Jan and Neil have entranced audiences in the tens of thousands.
From time to time Cat Simone and Paul Spence from the KZN Midlands do bespoke, eclectic dinner theatres. Cat and Paul’s music theatres have proven to be a smash hit with patrons, appealing to the 45+ age group.
